Criminal behavior and activity is on the rise for youth between the ages of 11 and 18 years. It is believed that drug, tobacco and alcohol use are contributing factors to the growth in criminal behavior and activity. NACDAC is the only community group in Nassau County that addresses alcohol and drug use and related crime for this age group. NACDAC was created to support and encourage drug-free lifestyles for the youth of Nassau County. The coalition is comprised of community leaders, law enforcement, parents, students and school board representatives. Each member brings their own expertise to the coalition.
